A Bit About Me..
- Born and raised on a traditional dairy farm in Montgomeryshire specialising in pedigree Holstein cattle (Garthmyl herd)
- Qualified with HND in AGRIC , joining Mccartneys in 1989 as assistant auctioneer to John Uffold. Qualified in 1995 and became equity partner the same year - member of RICS and CAAV.
- Opened an office as rural consultant in Bishops Castle in 1995 while auctioneering in Ludlow until 2001- moved to Brecon Market as Manager and auctioneer during foot and mouth.
Career Highlights
- Established one of the Best regular sales of quality store cattle in the country selling over 10,000 annually.
- Developed special sales of show potential cattle sold to all parts of the UK, plus organising , lotting and conducting a large monthly sale of antiques and furniture.
- Retired from the Mccartneys partnership in 2020 following a short illness and took the decision to establish an Independent Rural Consultancy, specialising in Valuations, and Freelance Auctioneer Service.
